We are Walking Friendly

At Castle Howard, we like to make our visitors’ experience as special as possible so we’ve signed up to The North York Moors National Park ‘Walking Friendly’ initiative. Here are just a few of the things we do to help make your walk a great one:
  • Muddy boots, wet bums and dogs are welcome in our Courtyard Café, just ask our team for boot protectors
  • Plan your trek over a spot of lunch with our OS maps available in the Courtyard Café and take away a paper map of local walks
  •  Remember to stay hydrated! We’ll refill your water bottle free of charge
  • Got a flask and fancy a brew on the go? Ask our Coffee Shop staff to fill your re-usable cup
