March 2023

We loved the attention to detail in the furnishings, pictures etc. The beds were comfortable, the bath accessories were fab. Well equipped kitchen loved the cooker & toaster. Great area (the light to read by in the evening could be a little brighter). Walking the grounds was great and the refreshments were delicious. If you go to Scarborough we strongly recommend the Bella Rose Café.

August 2022

Our first visit – stay at the lovely cottage. Very comfortable and cosy. Will return! Visited the Castle Howard after 17 years. Disappointing as there is less to see and the wall garden, once beautiful and now left to be. Hopefully it will improve. Loved the cottage!
